In order to thank the long-serving employees for their hard work, a four-day tour was organized in Wuyi Mountain for employees who have been in the company for 10 and 20 years. Everyone braved the hot summer, they wandered among the green mountains and clear waters, feeling the beauty of nature, enjoying the warm friendship of old colleagues everyone greatful to the company for the event . We were so happy to see our long-term employees enjoying this wonderful journey !

It was a pleasure to meet our customers at the 23rd Chinese Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition in Shanghai this past week. We were proud to be able to present our A-IMF Technology as well as all our sustainable, secure and safe packaging solutions.

Safety first ! #safety #health #safeworkplace To celebrate the International Safety day on April 28th, IPACKCHEM organized local events in all its production facilities in 9 countries to reinforce the importance of Safety and Health within IPACKCHEM. In Hungary, for example, the site has worked during the whole week with all the staff, promoting games and a safety quiz with focus on behavior. At the end of the week, a lottery was organized, and some gifts were distributed among the workers that have participated in the events. In Brazil, the event included discussions with all workers to define how to continously improve the safety of the workplace.

We are putting some actions plans together to increase this rate in the next 5 years. For the 2023 International Women’s day, the global campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity. The IPACKCHEM site in Cosmo – South Africa has achieved an outstanding milestone: 365 days without labor accidents! It was possible due to the commitment of all our staff to the Group policies and best-in-class principles on the Health and Safety approach. Among the main actions taken since the last incident, it is important to highlight the implementation of the Safety Day – one full day when the whole operation is stopped and specific sessions to discuss safety and health at the workplace happen. On top of that, the engagement of the leadership by doing the "Safety Gemba Walk" on a daily basis and continuous training for the workers has also directly contributed to this achievement. The main mission of the QHSE (Quality Health Safety & Environment) process is to make sure that our people have a safe place to work and deliver the best quality possible, in an environment that encourages and promotes continuous improvement. Daniel is committed to make this happen with his QSHE managers within our 12 manufacturing facilities in 5 continents.
Quality is a key factor for providing high-performance packaging to ensure safe transportation, storage, handling of life-enhancing chemicals. To achieve this high-quality result, IPACKCHEM’s business model is based on three pillars: Great People, Great Processes, and Great Pipelines.
Daniel is originally a Production Engineer with master’s degrees in quality, Production Management and Business Administration. Since 2005, Daniel has worked in product development, customer care and production. In Ipackchem, Daniel started 8 years ago in the IPACKCHEM Brazilian facility in Paulinia as Quality Manager then as QSHE Manager. He’s been coordinating those topics at a global level since 2019 and was recently promoted Group Quality Director in January 2023.

ISO 45001 Certification in China #sustainability #healthandsafety
We are pleased to announce that our factory in China (Kunshan) successfully passed the ISO 45001 audit and obtained the occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate issued by CQC (China Quality Certification Center).

After nearly a whole year of efforts by all employees, JRB Kunshan successfully obtained the ISO 45001 certificate in January 2023. This certificate is in line with JRB Kunshan's commitment to the group’s sustainability value. It is a new step for JRB Kunshan to better maintain its OH&S management system, including continual improvement of OH&S performance, identifying any potential safety risks, meeting related legal requirements and achieving OH&S objectives etc.

Last Friday, January 6th, the IPACKCHEM Brazilian plant opened its doors for a Family Day !
A presentation was given by the General Manager, Marcelo Pallas, to all employees and their families. Raffle gifts and breakfast were organized before a factory tour.
In addition, live music as well as parodies related to Safety brightened up the Family day. After the last raffle, our colleagues were able to enjoy the rest of the day with their families at home.

Safety Days @ IPACKCHEM GROUP #safety #team

Before restarting the activities after the festive holidays, some of our sites have organized Safety Days.
Safety Days were introduced at IPACKCHEM GROUP as a good practice to not only improve the communication about Safety with our employees but also to convert into real actions our message of full commitment to a safer and healthier workplace.

Specific activities were realized this week in three of our sites: Paulinia (BR), Crewe (UK), and Murray (USA), with agendas covering topics like Unsafe conditions identification, the importance of the correct usage of PPEs, safety behaviors, mental health, and several team buildings activities.

The results of such practice have been collected over the years, and the very positive feedback received from our workforce is even more significant.
