HDPE BARRIER CANISTER
iPackChem offers a range of high-quality HDPE barrier canisters that are designed to provide exceptional protection against hazardous chemicals and contaminants. Our canisters incorporate advanced barrier technologies, such as Advanced in Mold Fluorination, Post Fluorination, Plasma Fluorination, and Coextrusion.
Fluorination technologies work by replacing hydrogen ions in the polymer chain with fluorine ions, creating a highly effective barrier against hazardous chemicals that would not be contained by conventional HDPE canisters.
Advanced in Mold Fluorination is the most reliable and compliant barrier technology and meets all recent regulations aimed at restricting the use of PFAS. Coextrusion, on the other hand, involves the combination of multiple materials to create a barrier, with HDPE usually combined with PE/PA or EVOH.
While coextruded canisters provide excellent protection, they are more challenging to recycle due to their multi-material composition, which can increase recycling costs. In contrast, Fluorinated canisters are mono-material barrier canisters that can be easily recycled in the same way as conventional HDPE canisters.
Our HDPE barrier canisters are UN approved, and designed to endure the harshest conditions, ensuring the safety of your products during transportation and storage. They are available in a variety of formats, sizes, and shapes to suit your specific needs, including canisters, bottles, and containers.
