IPACKCHEM has 35 years of history: from Airopak, Boxmore, Chesapeake, Cerea Partners, and Sagard to SK Capital. Since its creation, IPACKCHEM has significantly developed its international footprint from Europe (France, UK, Hungary) to Russia, South Africa, Brazil, China, India and recently the US.

Company was founded as Airopak, a division of Air Products

1987

Crewe, UK plant opened

1987

Saint-Etienne, France plant opened

1991

Airopak was sold and integrated to Boxmore international

2000

Chesapeake Corporation took over Boxmore International

2007

Peremarton, Hungary plant opened

2013

Cerea, a private equity firm, organized the carve-out of Chesapeake chemical packaging division

2014

Chesapeake chemical packaging division renamed IPACKCHEM Group

2014

Paulinia, Brazil plant opened

2015

IPACKCHEM acquires Quadro Plastics in South Africa. We move to brand new facility in Nov 2017 in Cosmo (Johannesburg)

Sagard, a private equity firm, purchased IPACKCHEM

2017

Kirov, Russia plant opened

2020

IPACKCHEM Group acquired JRB Packaging Co. Ltd in China

2021

SK Capital, a private equity firm, purchased IPACKCHEM Group

IPACKCHEM Group acquired Mullackal Polymers Private Ltd in India
